Over £120,900 Raised at JEL Summer Ball 2023

On 10 June 2023, we hosted our third JEL Summer Ball at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow in support of Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland (PCAS), our permanent charity partners.

We are delighted to announce that the final total raised from the event was just over £120,900, taking our total fundraising for the charity since 2017 to over £380,000.

We thank each and every one of you who supported our event, either through attending on the night or supporting in other ways, whether as a supplier, a donor or simply by sharing our social media posts.

Our Managing Director, David McRae, had this to say:

“As we always are, we’ve been truly humbled by the incredible support for our JEL Summer Ball from associates; friends; clients; our friends in the legal profession; and the wider business community. This support is invaluable as we aim to make a real difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer. The charity is one with which I have a close, personal connection and we’re delighted to support it, and further its aims by hosting the event. It was an unforgettable evening, made possible due to the generosity of many.”

Pancreatic cancer survival rates remain depressingly low. We stand steadfastly with PCAS in seeking to address this and making this the decade of change for pancreatic cancer awareness and research. Head to the charity’s website to learn more about pancreatic cancer and PCAS’s outstanding work.
