From 1 May 2014, transferors in a TUPE situation have a duty to provide employee liability information about the transferring staff to transferee employers not less than 28 days before the transfer date.

From 1 May 2014, transferors in a TUPE situation have a duty to provide employee liability information about the transferring staff to transferee employers not less than 28 days before the transfer date.

 

The old rules required the information to be given no later than 14 days before the transfer.
