The Employment Rights (Revision of Limits) Order 2009 applies from today, 1 February 2010.

Of particular note is that the maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal has been revised down as a consequence of a fall in the Retail Price Index. For dismissals that are effective from today the following table sets out the compensation limits that apply:
