At Just Employment Law, we strive to help worthy causes, whether this is through individual team members making charitable donations or fundraising, or through the company collectively supporting a charity. We are keen to play our part in raising funds for local charities, and also to raise awareness of charitable organisations and the work they carry out.
For many years we have been involved in different fundraising initiatives, including a 13 Mile March for Cancer Research UK in 2016, the Douglas Park Pro Am for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland in 2017 and dragon boating and cycling for Bobath Scotland (now Cerebral Palsy Scotland) as our Charity of the Year in 2018.
In 2017, we launched our ‘Charity of the Year’ programme, enabling us to provide significant support to one charity for the entire year, and partnered with Pancreatic Cancer Scotland (now Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland). Choosing to support the same charity again in 2019, we subsequently elected to permanently partner with PCAS in a bid to help raise vital funds and awareness of pancreatic cancer. Through our partnership with PCAS, we have raised over £185,000 to date. Further information regarding key moments in our support of PCAS can be found here.
