Partick Thistle Football Club
In 2012, Just Employment Law was unveiled mid-season as the new shirt sponsors of Partick Thistle Football Club.
The investment made by JEL was intended to help cement the financial security of the Club after their previous sponsor went into administration.
Following the remainder of the season as shirt sponsors, JEL continued its sponsorship and support of Partick Thistle FC with various initiatives before coming back on board as main sponsors for season 2017/2018. Introducing our sponsorship for that season, our Managing Director, David McRae, said: “When the idea of becoming the club’s main sponsor first came up, it really didn’t take long for us to say yes. As lawyers, the contract negotiations didn’t take too long either!”
With a successful partnership in place, we were delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Club, remaining as main sponsors appearing front of shirt until the end of the 2022/2023 campaign, a fifth consecutive season of support. During this period, and prior, we were proud to back the Club during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the challenges this presented for all associated with Partick Thistle.
On announcing our fifth consecutive season as main sponsors of the Club, Partick Thistle former chief executive Gerry Britton said: “We consider our friends at Just Employment Law not only valued principal sponsors of Partick Thistle but true supporters of the club too. For Just Employment Law to extend their sponsorship for a fifth season in the current environment speaks volumes of the positive relationship we enjoy with them. Needless to say it’s another terrific boost for the club. David and his team are very familiar faces at our matchdays and we look forward to welcoming them back to Firhill when football returns. Until then, I’m sure all fans will echo my message of thanks to everyone at Just Employment Law for their ongoing support for Partick Thistle.”
At the end of the 2022/2023 season, having been principal sponsors of the Club for a total of 7 seasons, it was time for a change and to hand the baton over to new sponsors.
It has been our absolute privilege to have served the Jags as main sponsors, proudly appearing on the famous shirts – home and away – and with our branding prominent throughout the stadium. Continuing our sponsorship of the Club behind the scenes, we wish all at Partick Thistle nothing but immediate and sustained success moving forward. We’re privileged to have played a small part in the Club’s rich & varied history and hope that we’ve represented Partick Thistle well and upheld its values during our tenure.
