ACAS guide on handling staff pay

Smaller businesses without a dedicated payroll function may find it daunting to set up and maintain adequate systems for ensuring that employees are paid correctly. It can also be difficult to know how to resolve disputes that arise in relation to pay.


ACAS has published a guide for small firms to help in this area, which explains how to choose an adequate system, make deductions legally and how to ensure employees who are leaving the company are paid correctly.
