Zero-hour contracts in 2015

Changes to zero-hour contracts are expected during 2015.

Currently, a zero-hour contract can contain an ‘exclusivity clause’, preventing a worker under a zero-hour contract from working anywhere else.

It is expected that such clauses will be banned during 2015, given the potential for employers to abuse this practice and limit the worker’s employment options unnecessarily.
