A redundancy situation can arise in various circumstances, and it is important that an employer deals with a redundancy situation in a fair manner in order to limit the risk of any dismissals by reason of redundancy being found to be unfair.

This quick to read guidance document provides an overview of a suitable redundancy process to be followed, which should be read in accordance with an employer’s own documentation and ACAS guidance on handling redundancies.
