Amanda Puchalla

An experienced solicitor with an exclusive focus on employment law, Amanda is an asset to JEL and to her clients.

Prior to joining JEL, Amanda specialised in employment law litigation, managing a sizeable and varied caseload covering the full spectrum of employment law cases nationally.

Amanda is knowledgeable and skilled at identifying where the employment relationship can go wrong, as well as working with employers to repair that relationship. Her clients benefit from her experience of representing clients at the Employment Tribunal, identifying risk factors and how best to avoid these risks.   She helps clients to avoid escalation to costly litigation.

Amanda is a trusted solicitor, who often acts as an extension of her clients’ HR and management teams, and who is adept at building relationships with her clients. She advises on all employment law matters including dismissals, discrimination, senior exits, redundancies, and TUPE.  She also enjoys supporting clients in all aspects of dispute resolution including grievances, capability and disciplinary proceedings, and mediation (including judicial mediation if required). Amanda is committed to having a client-first approach at all times; is responsive to clients’ needs; and is always willing to work with clients to ensure that her advice, support and representation is tailored to their bespoke requirements.
