Legal Director


Caroline has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in Scotland in 2002, and, prior to joining Just Employment Law in 2014, she worked for a number of the biggest and best known law firms in Scotland. Caroline has also spent periods of time in her career on secondment in-house with clients, providing her with valuable hands-on experience of managing employer needs in the manufacturing, retail and financial services sectors.

Caroline brings notable skill and advisory experience to our legal team, which enables her to provide clear and commercial advice on all aspects of the employment relationship.

She understands employment law expectations and challenges faced by employers today and enjoys working in partnership with her clients to ensure that they have a strong and clear legal understanding from which to make decisions and manage any issues arising.

Caroline also advises clients on Employment Tribunal practice and procedure and has successfully represented a range of employer clients at the Employment Tribunal throughout the UK.

As a skilled and effective trainer, Caroline regularly develops and delivers employment law training services for line managers, senior management and HR teams in different industries. She plays a key part in the development and delivery of our client training programme.

As part of our Senior Management Team, Caroline also relishes the role of supervising JEL’s emerging talent via our traineeship programme and she enjoys developing the skills and experience of Solicitors in our legal team.

The key to Caroline’s success is her professional, focused and personable style in her client relationships. She has a genuine enthusiasm for helping the employers she works with achieve their business goals and address their workplace needs.
