David McRae

As our Managing Director, as well as having responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the firm, David plays a leading role in advising and representing clients, giving practical, commercially-focussed advice to employers of all sizes across all business sectors. Over the years, David has led numerous large scale collective consultation programmes; TUPE-related acquisitions and disposals; and successfully defended high profile claims. His services are retained by a range of clients including prominent companies in the energy sector; football clubs; pharmaceuticals; and charities.

He takes a keen interest in developing legal talent as a mentor in the firm’s legal traineeship programme and has acted as a consultative advisor to the Scottish Qualifications Authority on Professional Development Awards in employment law.

He is a regular commentator on employment law matters, appearing on the BBC and other media outlets, giving insight into key employment developments as they happen.
