Having graduated from Cambridge University with Honours in Law, Emma trained in the city of London and qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales before practising with large law firms in elsewhere in the UK. Emma is also admitted as a solicitor (non-practising) in Northern Ireland.
She is a highly respected lawyer who has operated internationally for Just Employment Law and has been a central figure within our legal team for many years, bringing a wealth of practical experience to our ranks. She is also fluent in Swedish and French.
Emma is measured and meticulous in her approach to her clients’ affairs and robustly defends their interests at all times. She advises; supports; trains; and, when the need arises, represents them giving her clients absolute peace of mind that they have her in their corner for their contentious and non-contentious employment needs at all times.
Possessing a keen eye for detail, Emma has a particular interest in discrimination; equality; and the ever-evolving area of unfair dismissal.
She is highly respected for her writing and contributes to our in-house publications for clients including drafting updates; briefings; and social media content. Emma also plays a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our training products for clients including our webinar sessions and related content which help keep employers up-to-date with best practice and the myriad of key employment issues they face.
In addition to her principal remit as a practising Solicitor within our legal team, Emma is also at the cutting edge of technology and advises the Board on innovative products aimed at improving our client services and methods of delivery to suit their needs. She also routinely contributes to our client updates and articles ensuring that employers are kept abreast of employment law developments.
