With more than 12 years’ employment law experience, and having spent her career with JEL since qualifying as a Solicitor in Scotland, Louise is a key member of our team, providing tailored and sector-specific advice on a wide range of employment law issues to employer clients of all sizes throughout the UK, delivered in a transparent style.

Louise has a natural talent when it comes to building relationships with clients, and is a trusted adviser to many of our business clients. Providing strategic options alongside advice on the legal risks for our clients, Louise is adept at providing clients with the information that they need in order to make the most appropriate decisions for their businesses. When it comes to advising on time critical matters, Louise is responsive to clients’ needs and is accessible, ensuring they receive what they need, when they need it.

Louise has extensive experience of reviewing employment documentation to ensure cohesion and consistency, and prides herself in drafting clear and concise contracts, policies and procedures for clients that are legally watertight and bear scrutiny when employment disputes arise. She represents clients before the Employment Tribunal, and delivers bespoke management training on all aspects of employment law.

In addition to fulfilling a key role as an experienced solicitor within our legal team, Louise sits on our Senior Management Team and is responsible for the training and supervision of lawyers emerging from Just Employment Law’s legal traineeship programme. Louise is also responsible for the development of processes within the firm, utilising technology with the ultimate aim of delivering the best and most efficient service possible to our valued clients.

Louise is also inherently involved in the firm’s charitable activities and works closely with our commercial partners.
