Samer Cheaitou

Samer is a Senior Solicitor within our legal team. A graduate of the University of Glasgow, he went on to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.

Over the years, Samer has become a permanent, and highly respected, solicitor in JEL’s legal team. He has an extensive client following, including businesses of all sizes and from a variety of sectors across the UK. He also supports third sector organisations. Samer takes pride in always being approachable and accessible to colleagues and our valued clients providing practical, jargon-free support.

Samer has built on his previous advocacy experience as a Tribunal Representative for a national charity by representing a number of clients before the Employment Tribunal. He also has a keen interest in dispute resolution, helping his clients to negotiate settlements where it is in their interests, avoiding costly and time-consuming litigation.

With a keen eye for detail and experience for precision-drafting, Samer also expertly drafts contracts of employment; directors’ service agreements; settlement agreements; and bespoke policies. He also produces content for trade publications and our various media platforms.
