Samer Cheaitou

Samer is a Senior Solicitor within our legal team.

Over the years, Samer has become a permanent, and highly respected, fixture at JEL. He has an extensive client following, including businesses of all sizes from a variety of sectors across the UK. He also supports third sector organisations.

Samer takes pride in always being approachable and accessible to colleagues and our valued clients and has a reputation for providing practical, jargon-free support and advice whenever this is required.

Samer also has extensive litigation experience and appears in the Employment Tribunal throughout the UK, defending employers from claims across the full spectrum of UK employment law matters. Whilst he has a keen interest in dispute resolution, he helps his clients to negotiate settlements where it is in their interests to do so, avoiding costly and time-consuming litigation. Where settlement is not possible or not preferred for any reason, he is available to his clients to litigate contentious cases to conclusion.  He has an excellent reputation in this area which is greatly valued by JEL and our clients.

With a keen eye for detail and experience for precision-drafting, Samer also expertly drafts contracts of employment; directors’ service agreements; settlement agreements; and bespoke policies. He also produces content for trade publications and our various media platforms.
